On the entire Gorenje bicycle network (GKO), where 640 kilometers of national and local bicycle connections are intertwined, you can notice NEW, unified bicycle markings, which are the result of the work of the Advisory Body of the Gorenje Region for the Development of Cycling (SORK).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

SORK consists of representatives of development agencies: BSC Kranj – Regional Development Agency of Gorenjska, Development Agency of Sora, Development Agency of Zgornja Gorenjska, as well as representatives of municipalities and cyclists.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Gorenjska region strives for the integrated development of cycling at the regional level and is also the first region<\/strong> to set up a cycling network in a systematic, connected and unified manner.<\/strong><\/span><\/span> In cooperation with the Directorate of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia (DRSI) and representatives of 24 municipalities, SORK established the Gorenjska bicycle network<\/strong>, which consists of 640 kilometers of national and local bicycle connections in Gorenjska and some neighboring municipalities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
