On the 9th of May 2023, the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sports<\/span><\/span><\/span> published an article on the governmental website informing that today the Government of the Republic of Slovenia is also joining the strategic partnership<\/span><\/span><\/span> “by signing the Agreement on cooperation in the Strategic Partnership in the GREEN MObility Mission, i.e. the mission of green and digital transformation of the Slovenian automotive industry”.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“In total, the Slovenian automotive industry represents a total of 10% of the Slovenian gross domestic product, and companies in this activity contribute to a fifth of Slovenian exports, so it is imperative that the automotive industry restructures in accordance with the digital and green transition, has been clear the Minister of Economy, Tourism and Sport, <\/span><\/span>Matja\u017e Han.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The government will therefore aim to secure 200 million euros by 2027 for the restructuring of this industry, and the first projects in this area already have the green light from the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport.<\/span><\/span> “The target business results of the automotive industry from the Strategy for the Development of the Slovenian Automotive Industry 2023-2030 indicate stable growth, and the authors of the strategy predict that in 2030 the Slovenian automotive industry will pay over 530 million euros into the state treasury, which is 59% more than last year.<\/span><\/span> ” explains Minister Han, who is today with a delegation at the Transport and Logistics Fair in Munich.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The President of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia Dr.<\/span><\/span> At today’s Strategic Development Conference organized by the GREMO consortium of companies, Robert Golob signed the Partnership Agreement in the GREMO Mission.<\/span><\/span> The government thus undertakes to co-finance projects for the implementation of the Strategy of the Slovenian Automotive Industry 2023-2030 and will strive to provide up to 200 million euros by 2027 to support the projects of the aforementioned strategy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“We are working on a kind of model example of cooperation between the state, science and the economy with the aim of transforming a certain industry,” said Minister Han from Munich, adding that the government will aim to contribute 30 to 50 million euros annually for restructuring projects, in accordance with<\/span><\/span> state aid rules, applicable legislation and individual departmental measures.<\/span><\/span> “The content envisaged in the commitments formalized with today’s signature is already being actively implemented at the ministry. On the basis of the Investment Promotion Act, in April we already approved two applications from companies that are members of the GREen MObilty consortium, namely in the joint<\/span><\/span> in the amount of more than 30 million euros of projects for the development of electric motor drive systems in cars.”<\/span><\/span><\/span>“<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
